Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)

Salary: $22 per hour

We have partnered with an Apartment complex in the Pontiac Mi, area. 

 

Summary:

 

We are looking to hire a Certified Occupancy Specialist. 3+ years of experience in a compliance role desired. Must have knowledge of Low-Income Housing Section 8. Knowledge and experience with digital document storage and filing. Yardi experience preferred. 

 

Qualifications:  

• Vast knowledge of Section 8 programs including the recertification processes from start to finish
• Understanding the 4350 Handbook and EIV requirements
• Process, move-in, initial, interim, and annual certifications for Section 8
• Must have reliable transportation
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• MS Office proficient and Yardi knowledge preferred
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an applicable compliance program required
• Certified Occupancy Specialist background preferred not required

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 08:00 AM- 05:00 PM
