Express Employment Professionals Northeast San Antonio office is currently partnering with a well-established door supplier company in the San Antonio area to place a Full Charge Bookkeeper on a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers the potential to join the client's team permanently following a successful evaluation period. Compensation for the position is $22-$25/hour, depending on experience. Work hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Essential Job Functions include:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and General Ledger maintenance.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records to support business operations.
• Process sales tax filings, monitor cash flow activity, and assist with payroll-related accounting tasks.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies while communicating effectively with vendors, customers, and internal team members.

Qualifications we are seeking entail:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close procedures.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
