Position Summary

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of bottled drinking water and related products to residential and commercial customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to perform physically demanding work, and adherence to all company safety and driving regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver bottled water, water coolers, and related products to customer locations according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, and transport products safely and efficiently.
• Install, replace, and maintain water coolers and dispensing equipment as needed.
• Collect payments, invoices, and delivery documentation when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Accurately maintain delivery records, logs, and route information.
• Assist with warehouse activities, including loading trucks and organizing inventory, when necessary.
• Respond professionally to customer questions and resolve delivery issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous delivery or route-driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and recordkeeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry water bottles weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Capability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
