Job Summary

Our client in Wilsonville is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, maintain accurate inventory and production records, and help ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

$24.15 per hour ($21.00/hour base pay plus 15% shift differential)

Schedule

FHN Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday
Hours: 3:15 PM – 3:30 AM

Duties

• Operate manufacturing equipment used to transform raw materials into finished products.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform in-process testing, including hardness, weight, variation, pH, moisture content, and other quality checks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Complete production documentation, logs, data sheets, and inventory records accurately and timely.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and production issues and troubleshoot to maintain optimal production levels.
• Interpret blueprints, subassembly layouts, schematics, and production instructions.
• Track orders received, work completed, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and equipment capacity with production requirements and inventory demands.
• Assist with production scheduling and collaborate with materials planning, maintenance, and production teams to meet operational goals.
• Determine material requirements and requisition materials based on production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve production objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, production, or related work experience preferred.
• Vocational training or equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and production documentation.
• Experience maintaining production records and inventory data.
• Ability to perform quality control testing and accurately record results.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• External certifications may be required depending on department or equipment operated.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a moderately complex manufacturing environment.
