Now Hiring: Quality Assurance Supervisor – Automotive

Location: McAllen, TX (frequent travel to Reynosa, MX)
Schedule: Full-time
Pay: Starting at $90,000+ annually, based on experience

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee and strengthen our quality operations in the automotive manufacturing sector. This position requires frequent travel and the ability to lead with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support quality inspectors and technicians, ensuring consistent application of quality standards.
• Conduct product and process audits in alignment with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances using root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
• Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and customer service to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain clear and accurate records, including inspection reports, audit findings, and quality documentation.
• Provide training and mentorship on inspection procedures, quality tools, and safety guidelines.

Travel Requirements:

• Frequent travel (2–3 times per week) to our Reynosa, Mexico facility is required.
• Occasional travel for supplier audits and inspections.
• All travel is determined by operational needs or quality emergencies and may vary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in an automotive manufacturing

• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA quality tools.
• Strong knowledge of inspection tools and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
