Automotive Service Technician (Entry Level)

Location: Slidell, LA
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour (DOE)

We are looking for an Entry-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team in Slidell, LA. This position is a great opportunity for someone with C-Tech or automotive shop experience who is ready to develop their mechanical skills while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake inspections and brake service repairs
• Conduct wheel alignments
• Complete vehicle inspections
• Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services
• Install and maintain tires
• Diagnose and complete basic mechanical repairs
• Use shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• C-Tech or entry-level mechanic experience preferred
• Previous automotive shop experience preferred
• Knowledge of oil changes, brake services, and wheel alignments
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in heat and shop conditions
• Valid driver's license preferred
