Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Seamstress/Sewist to perform highly customized sewing work within a structured assembly-line environment. This role is responsible for producing accurate, high-quality textile products while supporting production goals and maintaining workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will have sewing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to consistently deliver quality work in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform custom sewing tasks using industrial and standard sewing machines
• Cut, sew, iron, fold, measure, and inspect textile products according to specifications
• Maintain quality standards throughout the production process
• Work efficiently within an assembly-line environment to meet production goals
• Follow detailed instructions and product requirements with precision
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
• Assist with material handling and occasional shipping duties as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support team workflow and production objectives

Qualifications:

• Previous sewing experience is required
• Strong sewing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured assembly-line environment
• Comfortable performing repetitive hand-based sewing tasks
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
• Experience using sewing machines, cutting tools, irons, measuring tools, and inspection equipment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
