Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Service Technician / Propane Bobtail Driver on behalf of a respected local client. If you enjoy working independently, providing exceptional customer service, and operating commercial vehicles safely, we want to hear from you!

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

The Service Technician / Propane Bobtail Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering propane to residential and commercial customers while maintaining a professional image and providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a safety-focused individual who can operate delivery vehicles and equipment while representing the company in a positive manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver propane to customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude as part of the company team.
• Operate various delivery trucks and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate additional equipment, including boom trucks, as needed.
• Remain alert to customer needs and proactively address concerns or service issues.
• Complete required inspections, paperwork, and delivery records accurately.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and DOT requirements.
• Perform routine equipment and vehicle checks to ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

• Current CDL with Hazardous Materials, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements, or the ability to obtain required endorsements.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and general equipment knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment as required.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must pass a drug screening.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a reference check.
• Must pass a motor vehicle records (MVR) check for positions involving hazardous materials transportation.
