Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring an experienced machine operator for a family-owned company in Ferndale. Pay: $20.00-$22.00/HR

Shifts:

-Days Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
-Evening Rotating schedule, 3 on 3 off, schedule will be made with the company

Position Type: 3-month position, but could lead to a long-term position for the right candidate

Location: Lynden, WA

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

·         Operate and monitor a variety of production machinery, including rewinder, flat folding, and netting machines.

·         Set up, start, operate, and shut down production equipment following established procedures.

·         Assist with mixing resin and loading material into hoppers for the netting production process.

·         Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality standards and production goals are met.

·         Change finished product rolls approximately every 35 minutes and verify roll lengths for accuracy.

·         Assist with wrapping, folding, packaging, and labeling finished products for shipment. Perform quality inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet customer specifications.

·         Package large staples and other finished products as needed.

·         Organize materials and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse and production environment.

·         Work closely with team members while cross-training on multiple machines and production processes.

·         Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or quality concerns promptly.

·         Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 45 pounds throughout the shift.
