Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring a Production Packager for our valued local client.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and process driven.

 

POSTIION:  Production Packager

LOCATION:  Wilmington, CA

PAY:  $19/HR.

HOURS:  Monday - Friday 4 AM - 1:30 PM with a lot of overtime and frequent Saturdays

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Fill packaging containers and palletize cases
• Operate filling equipment in a safe environment 
• Follow written and verbal instructions and company specifications
• Maintain established standards of productivity & quality
• Set up and break down production machinery as needed
• Adhere to all safety procedures including the use of PPE
• Keep production areas clean by performing housekeeping tasks needed

 

SKILLS

 

• Good math, reading, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic literacy required
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Steel toe shoes
• HS diploma or GED
• Work in a chemical manufacturing environment
