Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing, and payment disbursements, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and procedures. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities include:
• Research and reconcile discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders
• Route invoices within the company to obtain payment approval
• Code invoices and set up payment schedules
• Maintain accounts payable files
• Update and maintain vendor database and reconcile statements
• Prepare monthly accruals
Location: Corona
Position Type: 3 Month Project
Schedule: Mondays - Thursday 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payables experience
- Must have worked with Workday
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of invoice and payables processes and procedures.
- Ability to create Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Excellent written, listening, verbal, and communication skills. Strong English composition and business writing skills.
