A well-established chemical supply and distribution company in Arleta is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator with a strong background in inventory control to join their growing team. The company is committed to excellence throughout every stage of the distribution process, from product selection and order fulfillment to delivery, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Summary: This position combines traditional warehouse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on inventory management and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate both sit-down and Raymond stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Perform inventory control functions including cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using PDA/RF scanning devices.
  • Organize warehouse inventory to maximize efficiency and product accessibility.
  • Ensure proper inventory rotation and stock management.
  • Assist the Inventory Control Specialist with daily inventory-related tasks.
  • Receive, store, pick, pack, and stage products for shipment.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience operating both sit-down forklifts and Raymond stand-up reach forklifts is required.
  • Strong inventory control experience, including: Cycle counts, Physical inventory counts and Inventory rotation.
  • Experience using PDA/RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
  • Ability to accurately count and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in chemical distribution or regulated warehouse environments is a plus.
