Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team in the electrical construction industry. Responsibilities

Assist senior electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate wiring and system setup.
Perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical systems installation following safety protocols and industry standards such as NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).
Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
Follow safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment on construction sites and during all electrical work activities.
Assist with the interpretation of electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure precise implementation of project specifications.
Participate in construction site activities including framing carpentry tasks when necessary to facilitate electrical installations.
Contribute to maintaining organized work areas, documenting work progress, and adhering to project timelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical technology is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, conduit bending techniques, and electrical wiring practices.
Understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and safety procedures related to electrical work.
Experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrician environments is advantageous.
Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with schematics interpretation is desirable.
Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and continuous learning in a construction or electrical setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to follow instructions precisely.
