Material Handler- STEEL BARS

Located in Warren, MI

Salary: $25/Hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for locating, inspecting, and tagging materials, setting up and adjusting machinery to meet customer specifications, and ensuring accurate production records. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, forklift operating experience, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Locate, inspect, and tag materials for production
• Perform machine setup and adjustments according to customer specifications
• Set up and operate machine straighteners
• Enter production data accurately into the company data system
• Operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
• Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing experience required (steel industry experience preferred)
• Forklift experience required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• $25 hourly 
• Monday- Friday: 6AM-4PM
• Warren, MI 48091
