Location: South Austin 
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with prior warehouse, logistics, inventory, or fulfillment experience who enjoys staying organized and ensuring inventory accuracy.

The Warehouse Clerk will be responsible for receiving and processing shipments, maintaining inventory records, preparing outbound orders, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. 

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting materials for accuracy and damage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels as needed.
• Assist with picking, packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Coordinate outbound shipments and communicate with carriers regarding pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse documentation, including packing slips, shipping records, and inventory reports.
• Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and safe.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and office teams to resolve inventory and shipment issues.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, shipping/receiving, or clerical experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the day.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred:

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
• Forklift experience and/or certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse environment.

Work Environment

This position works in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, requiring employees to work in varying temperatures throughout the year. The role involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. 

Compensation

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience
