Jockey Driver - 1st Shift

Located in Hardeeville , SC

Salary: $21.50/hr.

We are currently looking for a qualified Jockey Driver for a company located in Hardeeville, SC. 

Pay: $21.50/hr.

Schedule: M-F am-4:30pm

Job Responsibilities: 

• Move trailers safely throughout the yard to designated loading and unloading areas
• Position trailers at dock doors for loading and unloading operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers
• Verify trailer numbers and maintain accurate movement records
• Communicate with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and drivers to coordinate trailer movements
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized yard while supporting warehouse operations
• Assist with other yard or warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A driver's license required
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT regulations
• Ability to safely operate yard trucks and tractor-trailers in a warehouse or distribution yard
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
