Salary: $25.00/hr.

We are currently looking for a qualified Apartment Maintenance Tech for a company located in Beaufort, SC. 

Pay: $25.00/hr.

Schedule: M-F with some Saturdays

Job Responsibilities: 

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments and common areas
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and carpentry issues
• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready/turnovers)
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and common areas as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls when assigned
• Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
