Location: Rock Island and East Moline 
Job Type: Full-Time 
Schedule: 1^st shift 
Pay Range: $16-$19

About the Company

Express Employment is seeking a Wooden Pallet Builder to join our client’s team.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Build custom wood pallets and crates according to work orders and specifications.
• Safely operate various saws, including table saws, chop saws, and radial arm saws.
• Use pneumatic nail guns and other hand and power tools to assemble products.
• Measure, cut, and inspect lumber for quality and accuracy.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed

 

Required Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Experience operating pneumatic nail guns and industrial saws.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to accurately measure and cut materials.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

• Previous experience building wood pallets, crates, woodwork or construction industries.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Basic blueprint or work order reading experience.
