Cleaning & Restoration Laborer

$18/hr | 8:00am-4:30pm | Monday-Friday

Frequent overtime is required based on business needs.

On call time is required every other week.

Express is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join their team as Cleaning & Restoration Laborers. This is a hands-on position assisting with the cleanup, restoration, and reconstruction of residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm, or other property damage. Team members help restore homes and businesses while providing exceptional service to customers during challenging situations.

Responsibilities

Perform water, fire, smoke, and mold damage cleanup and restoration
Remove damaged building materials, debris, flooring, drywall, and insulation
Operate restoration equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors, and HEPA vacuums
Clean, sanitize, and deodorize affected structures and contents
Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to job sites
Assist with demolition, reconstruction, and general labor tasks as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow OSHA safety procedures and company standards
Provide professional customer service while working in occupied homes and businesses

Qualifications

Previous construction, cleaning, restoration, or general labor experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates
Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds repeatedly
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and in varying weather conditions
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass strict pre-employment screenings

Physical Requirements

Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing
Ability to work in dusty, wet, or confined environments
Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
