Location: Longview, TX
Pay: Starting at approximately $16-18/hr., depending on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, every other Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

An established equipment rental company in Longview is seeking a dependable and hardworking Equipment Make-Ready Technician to join our team immediately. This position is responsible for preparing rental equipment for customers by cleaning, inspecting, servicing, and performing basic maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and ready for use.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload rental equipment safely.
• Secure equipment using straps and proper tie-down procedures.
• Clean and power wash equipment returning from rental jobs.
• Perform routine maintenance, including:
  • Lubricating equipment
  • Changing oil and filters
  • Preparing equipment for the showroom and rental inventory
• Assist with minor mechanical repairs and equipment upkeep.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience and/or equipment operating experience is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, move, and load heavy equipment as needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license required.
