Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled Production Operator for their 2nd Shift.

The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through a combination of assembly work and CNC machine operation. This position ensures products are manufactured according to quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements while maintaining efficiency and accuracy throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machinery according to established procedures and work instructions.
  • Load and unload materials, components, and finished parts from CNC equipment.
  • Perform basic machine setup, tool changes, and routine operational checks as required.
  • Assemble components and finished products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools and gauges.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, and production abnormalities.
  • Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or CNC machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
