Express Employment on 99th and Fort is recruiting for Laser Machine Operator for a local Omaha client!

 

Position Details:

• Type: Evaluation Hire
• Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
• Location: Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Starting at $18/hr

Job Duties:

• Perform mold set‑ups and changeovers on injection molding machines according to production schedules.
• Install molds, auxiliary equipment, and related components safely and efficiently.
• Start up and shut down machines, ensuring proper process parameters are set and documented.
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, and material issues to maintain optimal production flow.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of molds, machines, and equipment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure part quality and minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout rules, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production activity, set‑ups, and process adjustments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1–3+ years of experience performing mold set‑ups in an injection molding environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of injection molding principles.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, mold sheets, and process documentation.
• Experience with process troubleshooting and machine adjustments (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle time).
• Familiarity with auxiliary equipment (dryers, loaders, thermolators, robots) a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
