Logistics Supervisor

Location: Plant City, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pay: $20.00–$30.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Logistics Supervisor to oversee the daily preparation, maintenance, and organization of company vehicles, trailers, equipment, and materials. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring crews have the tools and supplies they need for the next day's work while maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient yard and fleet operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to identify safety or maintenance concerns.
• Fuel company vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Prepare and stage trucks, trailers, and materials for the next day's projects.
• Load and unload landscaping and irrigation materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Organize and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and job materials.
• Secure all vehicles, equipment, trailers, and facilities at the end of each shift.
• Coordinate repairs and transport vehicles or equipment to service locations when necessary.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through routine cleaning, greasing, and preventative maintenance.
• Support warehouse and yard operations by organizing materials and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Run company errands related to equipment, parts, and supply pickups as needed.
• Communicate maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, fleet management, warehouse operations, landscaping, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
