Yard Attendant

Pay: $18.00 | Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 5:00pm

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Attendant to support daily rental operations. This position is responsible for inspecting returned equipment, assisting customers, maintaining the yard, and ensuring machines are ready for the next rental.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect rental machines and attachments upon return for damage, record fuel levels, and complete the check-in process within 24 hours.
• Perform operational inspections of returned rental equipment to ensure machines are safe and ready for use.
• Assist with shipping and receiving parts and equipment between locations.
• Maintain daily communication with the Rental Coordinator to support customer needs and business operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in the yard, providing PPE when needed, and completing equipment walk-arounds and rental familiarization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment, including steam cleaning equipment and keeping cleaning areas free of debris.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete equipment inspections accurately.
• Comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment.
• Ability to provide professional customer service and communicate effectively.
• Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Willingness to learn, complete training, and support team initiatives.
