SMAW Welder

Express Employment Professionals Guelph is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced SMAW Welder to join their team for a 4-6 weeks contract in Guelph, ON.

 

In this role, associates will be responsible for a variety duties to assist the shop and field in completing the assigned projects.

 

SMAW Welder Advantages

Wage: $27.32/Hr. (based on experience)
Full-time, long-term opportunity
Day Shift Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, must be flexible on the shift times

SWAM Welder Responsibilities 

• Cut and prepare steel products
• Complete grinding
• Welding and assisting the fitter-welder as required
• Assist with installs and repairs in the field

SMAW Welder Qualifications

• CWB certification is an asset
• 5–10 years of relatable experience required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
• Must have reliable transportation
