Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialty carbon and graphite materials, is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and stage orders for shipment
• Pick and assemble customer orders, verifying accuracy and reporting shortages
• Select appropriate shipping containers and packing materials
• Operate warehouse equipment, including a sit-down forklift
• Load and stack shipments on pallets and transport them to the shipping dock
• Receive, inspect, and unpack incoming materials and supplies
• Verify shipments against purchase orders and report shortages, damages, or defects
• Perform monthly cycle counts under the direction of the Warehouse Manager
• Move materials to production departments or storage locations
• Operate cranes, hoists, and powered industrial trucks as needed
• Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and company policies
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to work safely and accurately in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• Normal vision and hearing required
