Job Title: Principal Oracle EBS Systems Architect / Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Architect

Location: McAllen, TX (Also open to candidates near Plano, TX; Novi, MI; or Los Angeles, CA)

Pay: $110,000–$160,000+ per year (DOE)

Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift (Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; flexibility required based on business needs)

 

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Principal Oracle EBS Systems Architect to join the Information Technology team of a global manufacturing organization. This is a senior-level technical leadership position responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and integrations across multiple business locations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 architecture, Oracle development tools, enterprise application integrations, and production support. This position plays a critical role in supporting large-scale Oracle initiatives while collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, and IT leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12/R12.2 solutions
• Architect enterprise-level Oracle applications, customizations, and integrations
• Develop and support Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OA Framework, Oracle Workflow, and BI Publisher solutions
• Create and maintain SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Loader processes, APIs, interfaces, and data conversions
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system enhancements
• Develop technical specifications, documentation, and coding standards
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable Oracle solutions
• Support Oracle EBS upgrades, patches, testing, and deployment activities
• Ensure application security, system reliability, and best practices are followed
• Work closely with cross-functional IT teams on enterprise projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible Oracle E-Business Suite technical development experience
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS R12/R12.2 architecture
• Advanced experience with: Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OA Framework, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, SQL, PL/SQL and SQL Loader
• Experience developing Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, Data Conversions, and custom integrations
• Experience supporting enterprise Oracle business applications in a production environment
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced enterprise environment
