Position: Dishwasher

 

Job Summary:
Responsible for cleaning dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Supports kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
• Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Remove trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and stocking duties.
• Report broken equipment or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred but not always required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
