CSR & Inventory Associate
(Animal Feed Store)

Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Potential Pay Increase: Up to $20.00/hour after successful completion of the probationary period and permanent hire.

 

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, stays organized, and takes pride in keeping inventory accurate and the store running smoothly. We're looking for someone who is mature, accountable, and willing to learn. The right candidate will work closely with the Store Manager and become a valuable part of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers with product selection.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions.
• Enter inventory information and assist with ordering products.
• Stock shelves and maintain an organized, clean, and well-presented store.
• Assist customers by loading feed, hay, and other merchandise into their vehicles.
• Learn product knowledge to confidently answer customer questions.
• Use DataPro AS/400 and other computer systems for inventory and ordering (training provided).

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory control, ordering, or retail operations.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs, including bags of animal feed and hay.
• Flexible to work every other Saturday.
• Must not have allergies to dogs, horses, hay, animal feed, or animal dander.
• Previous experience in a pet store, farm supply store, feed store, or working with animals is highly preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
