Schedule: Part-Time | 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM | Days Vary

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Tray Runner to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will help ensure patients receive meals accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare setting and making a positive impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meal trays to patient rooms according to established schedules.
• Confirm patient information and dietary restrictions before meal delivery.
• Collect used trays and transport them to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tray carts and service areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with meal preparation, tray assembly, and stocking supplies as needed.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines.
• Report any patient concerns or issues to appropriate staff members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service, hospitality, or healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work varying days, including weekends and holidays as needed.
