Job Summary

The Combilift Operator is responsible for safely operating a Combilift forklift to move, load, unload, store, and transport materials throughout the warehouse, production area, or yard. This position ensures efficient material handling while maintaining inventory accuracy, following safety procedures, and supporting overall operational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate Combilift forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-process inventory to designated locations.
• Stack, store, and retrieve materials from racks and storage areas.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
• Report equipment malfunctions, damage, or safety concerns immediately.
• Verify material quantities and product identification against shipping or receiving documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners.
• Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting activities.
• Support shipping, receiving, production, and warehouse operations as needed.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, team members, and other departments.
