Mechanic – Garage Door Installer

Location: In Person
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and mechanically inclined Garage Door Installer/Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial garage doors and openers. The ideal candidate has construction or mechanical experience, enjoys hands-on work, and is committed to providing quality service.

Responsibilities

• Install new garage doors, openers, tracks, springs, and related hardware.
• Repair and troubleshoot garage door systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Read blueprints and installation instructions.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Lift and move heavy materials as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.
• Communicate with customers and team members to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in garage door installation, construction, or mechanical repair preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
