Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator position for a Construction/Plumbing company based in Bradenton, FL
Duties:
- Process weekly/biweekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Review and validate timesheets, wage calculations, overtime, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Maintain payroll records and update employee information such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay changes.
- Administer employee benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and supplemental benefits.
- Coordinate open enrollment, new hire benefits onboarding, and mid-year benefits changes.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for teammates regarding benefits coverage, claims, eligibility, and enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR documentation.
- Provide timely responses to employee questions about payroll, benefits, deductions, PTO, and policies.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
- Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, Gusto, or similar).
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and benefits compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
