Location: Potlatch, ID
Pay: $17.00–$19.00/HR DOE
Schedule: Flexible schedule, approximately 2:00 PM–10:00 PM | 10–15 days per month to start, with potential for increased hours as production grows

Entry-Level CNC Machine Operator Opportunity

We are hiring dependable and motivated CNC Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team producing aerospace, production, and laser-cut components. This position is ideal for someone who is trainable, reliable, mechanically minded, and capable of working independently while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in CNC machining, manufacturing, production, quality control, machine operation, and aerospace-related manufacturing. Some CNC experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC 5-axis milling machine
• Load materials and change carts as needed during production runs
• Monitor machine operation throughout the production process
• Perform part inspections and quality control checks on finished components
• Verify parts meet production and quality standards
• Work primarily with aluminum components
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Trainable and willing to learn CNC machining processes
• Reliable with strong attendance and dependability
• Able to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Mechanically minded with basic troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions

Preferred Experience

• Some CNC machining or CNC machine operation experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience with quality control inspections a plus
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on technical experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to load and unload materials as needed
• Frequent walking, reaching, and repetitive hand movements
• Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and machinery
