INDUSTRIAL LABOR - ASCENSION PARISH -D198

LONG-TERM, FULL TIME

 

 

Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring INDUSTRIAL LABOR for a local client in ASCENSION PARISH.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for INDUSTRIAL LABOR:  

• Industrial labor
• Backhoe operator
• Inspection and repair of railroad tracks
• Using hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
• Moving materials as needed for projects
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Rail-specific experience is preferred
• Backhoe experience is a plus
• Experience rigging, working with barges, or heavy construction is a plus
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Able to safely lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly
• Good listening skills and able to follow instructions
• Commitment to Safety
• Reliable transportation with a commitment to being at work for all scheduled shifts, and willing to stay until the job is finished
• Commitment to learn the industry and grow with the company
• valid TWIC and OSHA Basic certification
• Drug Free and able to pass a DISA hair follicle test
