We are currently hiring a dependable and hardworking General Labor Associate for a sheet metal manufacturing facility in Marshville, NC. This position will support production operations by unloading sheet metal parts from laser machines and preparing materials for shipment or further processing.
Unload sheet metal parts from laser cutting machines
Use mallets to separate and remove cut pieces safely
Operate a jib crane and overhead crane to move materials
Stack and organize parts onto pallets
Assist with forklift operation as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Experience using forklifts, jib cranes, or overhead cranes is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
Strong attention to safety and detail
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
