Salary: $20 - $24 DOE

Express Employment Professionals is now hiring for an Water and Mold Abatement Technician in Colorado Springs! The Water and Mold Abatement Technician would be able to Perform water extraction, controlled demolition, moisture mapping, and set/monitor drying equipment.

• Perform water and mold mitigation   
• Establish containment barriers
• Safely remove affected materials
• Set up HEPA/ Negative air systems  
• Maintain proper documentation of job site activities and inventory

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of water and mold mitigation experience 
• Familiar with setting up Air movers, dehumidifiers,
• Certifications: Valid State of Colorado  IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT). IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT). OSHA 10 or OSHA 30  are heavily preferred
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Willingness to wear PPE including respirators Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Screening: Clean background check - no felonies, valid driver's license with an insurable driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening -to include THC
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must have a Valid Driver License and clean MVR

Work Environment

• Warehouse and field worksites
• Will require lifting up to 50 lbs, up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to various weather conditions
