Bilingual Human Resources Administrator - 3rd Shift

Essential Purpose of this Position
The Bilingual Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day activities in the Human Resources operation. The person in this role will work in an office setting and will exhibit a high degree of professionalism, creating a positive brand image for Koch Foods. Meeting production numbers and other essential job functions ensure that we are providing the best quality product to our customers.
• Greets all employees in a friendly and courteous manner when assisting with their employment transactions.
• Perform a wide array of functions in human resources related to processing, filing, and maintaining personnel information.
• Interact with job applicants, employees, and supervisors regarding benefits administration.
o Assist employees with benefit claims and plan changes.
o Instruct employees on how to use FMLA pipeline.
o Initiate corporate COBRA response and submit all employee insurance coverage deductions/ changes.
o Communicate quarterly enrollments in 401k plans.
o Will oversee open enrollment annually.
o Assist employees with questions about employment, payroll, and other HR related issues.
? Refer employees to the correct person if you do not know the answer to an employees’ question.
• Maintain weekly staffing reports and monitor retention rates.
• Track perfect attendance, employee of the month, and all other incentive plans.
• Plan and organize all company employee events.
• Assist with department of labor hearings.
• Compile unemployment information to send to the department of labor.
• Conduct driver recruitment.
o Conduct employment verifications of current and former employees, DHS, child support, DOT drivers, and all incoming mail.
o Responsible for the drivers’ payroll.
o Maintain DOT related employment files. Administer DOT annual testing. Request MVR and PSP reports in driver recruiting.
• Provide clerical support to the human resources team.
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality in dealing with employee information.
• Handle some of the customer service requests as they come in.
• Will be detail oriented and organized.
• Answer phone and answer questions within the scope of responsibility for job and refers all other calls to correct HR team member.
o Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor when dealing with customers.
• Capable of data entry into ADP systems.
• Conduct benefits overview in orientation once per week.
• Assemble benefits packages for orientation.
• Will complete no-pay and termination logs for payroll department.
• Will assist and work closely with complex human resources manager.
• Maintain general understanding of other positions in the department and assist in other roles in the absence of co-workers.
• Assist supervisors in the interpretation of the employee handbook and assist in the administration of company policies, rules, and regulations.
Fluency in English and Spanish is an absolute requirement.

STARTING PAY $22.00/HOUR
