Janitorial Functions:
• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review emails, work schedule, crew assignments, check
equipment & supplies required to perform the work and comply with PPE (personal
protective equipment) requirements.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after returning to janitorial office.
• Inform supervisor in a timely manner when materials or products need to be purchased.
• Perform detailed and thorough janitorial services required by the scope of work for every
client. Including but not limited to dusting, disinfecting, sweeping, moping, vacuuming,
washing windows, mirrors, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal.
• Utilize tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe & economical manner as prescribed by
company procedures, using a “safety first” approach.
• Understand proper use of chemicals and familiar with SDS protocols.
• Resupply any client items as instructed according to the scope of work.
• Always maintain a safe work environment & immediately notify supervisor of any safety
hazard.
• Always maintain security of client facilities & Sunrise properties.
• Perform duties and complete tasks as requested by supervisor in a reasonable amount of
time.
• Utilize janitorial software to track and document all janitorial service work.
• Ensure all documentation is submitted on time in accordance with company procedures.
• Participate in required meetings, training, and committees.
• Ensure a high quality of service is delivered to janitorial clients.
• Safely drive crew to various account locations.
• Know and follow organizational quality control guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks and document according to organizational protocol.
• Meet regular attendance requirements as assigned.
• Keep work area in a clean, safe condition
