Temporary Benefits Coordinator

Open Enrollment & Benefits Administration | $30-$35/hour

Our client, McGill, is looking for an experienced Benefits Coordinator to provide critical HR support during a temporary assignment from September 2026 through February 2027.

Compensation

  • $30-$35/hour DOE
  • Up to 40 hours per week
  • Temporary assignment: September 2026 - February 2027
  • 100% onsite in Asheville

In This Role, You'll

  • Lead benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, disability, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans
  • Support annual open enrollment and qualifying life events
  • Coordinate COBRA administration and benefit vendor relationships
  • Assist with FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and leave administration
  • Maintain HRIS records and personnel files
  • Audit benefit invoices and payroll deductions
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance projects

You're a Great Fit If You Have

  • Five or more years of HR experience with a strong focus on benefits
  • Experience administering employee benefit programs
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
  • SHRM or PHR certification is a plus
