Materials Delivery Driver

We're seeking a dependable Materials Delivery Driver to safely and efficiently deliver lumber, construction materials, and related products to customers throughout the local area. This position combines driving responsibilities with warehouse support to ensure excellent customer service and smooth daily operations.

 

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Complete daily pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load trucks using a forklift or by hand and verify orders for accuracy before departing.
• Deliver and unload materials safely at customer locations.
• Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery documentation.
• Record returned merchandise and assist with return processing.
• Assist customers with deliveries, questions, and returns while providing excellent customer service.
• Help receive, stock, organize, and restock inventory when not making deliveries.
• Communicate customer requests or messages back to the branch.
• Assist with other warehouse and branch duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana For-Hire (Chauffeur's) License or Class A CDL.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Construction, lumber, or building materials experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable work ethic and excellent customer service skills.

 

Pay

• $18-$20/hour with a For-Hire (Chauffeur's) License, depending on experience.
• $21-$27/hour with a Class A CDL, depending on experience
