Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working General Laborer to join our team at our Recycling & Compost Station. This role involves maintaining a clean and safe working environment by performing general labor tasks such as litter collection, equipment cleaning, and other assigned duties. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who are dependable, physically fit, and committed to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and dispose of litter and debris around the facility

Clean and maintain composting equipment and machinery

Assist with general upkeep of the site, including sweeping, raking, and power washing

Follow proper safety procedures at all times

Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned by supervisors

Communicate any issues or safety concerns to management

Operate basic hand tools and cleaning equipment safely and effectively

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior experience in general labor, groundskeeping, or sanitation work is a plus

Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physically demanding tasks

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Willingness to work in all weather conditions

Work Environment:
Outdoor work environment with exposure to compost materials and various weather conditions

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided

Physical work including lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
