Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join their commercial real estate team in Asheville.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning their portfolio, working directly with ownership, and partnering with a collaborative accounting team. Compensation

In This Role, You'll

• Manage the accounting for a portfolio of approximately 12 commercial properties
• Perform month-end close activities
• Complete CAM reconciliations and budgeting for six properties
• Prepare journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Generate financial reporting
• Utilize Yardi Commercial Property Management Software as your primary accounting system
• Work directly with ownership and company leadership
• Partner with the company's national accounting firm
• Leverage advanced Excel to analyze financial data and support business decisions

You're a Great Fit If You Have

• Commercial real estate accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of Yardi Commercial Property Management Software
• Experience managing a commercial property portfolio
• CAM reconciliation experience
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Month-end close experience
• Bank reconciliation experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
