Service Technician

Location: South Stockton, CA
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime available

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform tire service, maintenance, and repairs on medium-duty trucks, farm equipment, and small over-the-road (OTR) vehicles while following all safety and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Tire Service & Repair

• Mount and dismount tires on and off vehicles.
• Repair flat tires of various sizes using TIA (Tire Industry Association) procedures.
• Safely jack up vehicles following TIA guidelines.
• Install wheels and properly torque lug nuts to manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect tires and identify service or replacement needs.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all TIA procedures for tire service and inflation.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, including any assigned service vehicle.
• Use proper tools and equipment while performing all job duties.

Documentation

• Accurately complete Service Work Orders for all work performed.
• Complete Retread Work Orders for tires designated for retreading.
• Document and process eligible tire casing credits.

Fleet Maintenance

• Perform tire maintenance and service for fleet customers.
• Follow customer-specific maintenance procedures and service requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on asphalt, concrete, and uneven surfaces throughout the day.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds.
• Comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment and in environments with loud noise levels.

Requirements

• Previous tire service or mechanical experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean DMV driving record.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
