Inventory Clerk 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support a warehouse and manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring materials are available to support production and customer orders. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials and inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management/ERP system.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Issue materials to production and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Organize warehouse inventory for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Verify quantities and part numbers on incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Shipping, and Receiving to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Label, stock, and move materials throughout the warehouse as needed.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe inventory storage areas.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous inventory, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience using an ERP or inventory management system is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read part numbers, work orders, and inventory reports.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Ability to operate or become certified on forklifts and other material handling equipment (preferred).
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
