Pay: $17.00 per hour (DOE)
Shifts Available: Day and Night Shifts
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and safety-focused Mixer Operators / Production Operators for a local manufacturing company in Wichita Falls, TX. This position is responsible for operating blending and mixing equipment, maintaining material inventory, supporting production operations, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate mixing and compounding equipment to produce materials according to specifications
• Set mixer systems to ensure proper production requirements are met
• Visually identify and verify raw materials and ingredients
• Accurately weigh ingredients according to production formulas and specifications
• Make machine adjustments and perform minor maintenance to maintain quality and efficiency
• Complete production reports and required paperwork accurately
• Conduct routine inspections of mixers, blending systems, and storage silos
• Operate forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products
• Unload resin from railcars as needed
• Climb silos and railcars when required for inspections and material handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Assist with additional production duties as needed

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to recognize materials and follow detailed production specifications
• Ability to perform physical labor, including climbing ladders, silos, and railcars
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
