Production Support / Machine Operator

Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Pay: $19.75 per hour

Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: Production Support – 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Night Shift: Production Support – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Schedule: Rotating 12-hour schedule

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking motivated and dependable individuals for Production Support and Machine Operator positions with a leading manufacturing company in Wichita Falls, TX. These roles are critical to supporting printing press operations, material preparation, ink production, core cutting, and overall production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and willing to learn multiple production functions.

Production Support Responsibilities

Pre-Press

• Make, mount, demount, and maintain printing plates
• Clean plates using approved solvents
• Maintain plate inventory and location records using computer databases
• Support press operations by ensuring plates are prepared and available

Ink Room

• Prepare inks and adhesives to support production requirements
• Learn color-matching techniques while working alongside press operators
• Clean press components, ink buckets, and adhesive carts daily
• Maintain accurate records and dispense inventory using computerized systems

Core Cutting

• Cut cores according to production requirements
• Assist with slitting operations and pack-out activities
• Maintain baler equipment and keep the department clean
• Utilize tape measures and metric measurements accurately
• Remove trash and production debris as needed

Machine Operator Responsibilities (Night Shift)

• Assist Press Operators with production activities
• Load raw materials using overhead hoists and material-handling equipment
• Enter production information into computer systems (SAP experience is a plus)
• Supply inks, plates, anilox rolls, and materials to production lines
• Monitor production processes and support equipment operations
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and production areas
• Follow all quality and safety procedures while supporting manufacturing operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Understanding of basic metric measurements
• Basic computer skills required
• SAP experience is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple departments
• Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials as needed
• Comfortable working around machinery, solvents, and production equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
