• Day Shift: 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM

Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and motivated Machinists / CNC Machine Operators for a local manufacturing company in Wichita Falls, TX. This position is responsible for operating manual and CNC machinery, maintaining dimensional accuracy of parts, interpreting blueprints, and performing quality inspections throughout the machining process.

The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using precision measuring instruments, and understanding basic machining processes and CNC controls.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dimensional quality on all parts through repeated inspections during the machining process
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Verify measuring instruments are properly calibrated before use
• Perform pre-machining and final-machining operations according to specifications
• Set up and operate one or more of the following:
  • CNC and manual lathes
  • Mills
  • Grinders
  • Other production machinery as required
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete production documentation and quality records as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to read and use basic measuring instruments
• Knowledge of machining processes and CNC controls
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Previous machining or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
