Facilities Janitor – 2nd Shift

Location: Camarillo, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay: $18.25-$19/hr 
Training: First week on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Camarillo, is seeking a dependable Facilities Janitor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What You'll Do

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Dust office furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Shampoo carpets and perform floor care, including stripping, sealing, and polishing.
• Mix and use cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures.
• Operate janitorial equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition.
• Keep janitorial storage areas clean and organized.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to management.
• Assist with room setups for meetings or company events.
• Perform other general cleaning and facility maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of janitorial, custodial, or related cleaning experience.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures.
• Must be comfortable using cleaning chemicals and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
