Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Pay: $15.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift 7am-4pm Monday- Friday

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist (CNC) for a local manufacturing company in Wichita Falls, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of CNC machining experience and be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC horizontal boring mills to produce high-quality precision components. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC horizontal boring mill machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Program machines and make necessary adjustments to meet production requirements
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments
• Monitor machine operations and make corrections as needed
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance and upkeep
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience (horizontal boring mill experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• CNC programming experience; G-code knowledge preferred
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience machining large components and parts
• Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC control systems
• Technical school, trade school, or machining certification preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
